The Power of Prayer?

My father always told me to trust in God, but lock your car. Same goes for my home. It is one thing to have total complete faith in God the Father, and it is another thing entirely to want to protect one’s abode and possessions. Having faith in God means putting your complete trust in God, that He will protect you from, and deliver you from evil, but not even God is going to prevent your car from being stolen, or your house from getting violated especially if you do not lock your doors. Is it a sin then to invest in home security cameras? It is not! Because not even the wrath of God or the threat of punishment can deter a thief from getting what he wants.
