There is an abundance of products available on how to relieve stress and it shouldn’t surprise you. Just about everyone knows what stress is. We are so busy being busy we have little time for anything else.
We are victims of a world gone mad. Think about it. We run around like crazy all day just so we don’t have enough time. Our quest for more stuff; money, success and material things is what has caused our stressful lives and why we are these ticking time bombs.
The symptoms of stress can be fatal leading to disease, chronic illness, hypertension and even heart attack. Many people don’t realize the stress they put themselves under on a daily basis. We have built in mechanisms in our bodies that help us when we are confronted with stressful situations. We were not however supposed deal with stress all the time.

Life is always going to throw you a curve ball you don’t expect but this should not be happening to you all of the time. A little planning can be the best thing you can do to keep your stress levels down. Your health and life could be at stake.
The second thing is to drink less caffeine and if you are a smoker to cut back, or better yet, quit smoking. Nicotine and caffeine can cause harmful stress to the body. Try to limit your intake where possible.
Now we can work through the 5 tips to avoid stress on your mind and body.
1. Get some exercise
No matter what your definition of exercise is. It could be working out at the gym, going for a long walk or even going for a run. What is critical is that you exercise on a regular basis and that you are relaxing when doing so. It is pointless to perform and exercise is you are not enjoying doing it.
2. Relaxation and meditation
I know it sounds easy to say just relax or chill out but most people don’t know how to. You don’t have to know the art of meditation in order to just get a little uninterrupted time for yourself on a consistent basis.
3. Spoil yourself
This doesn’t mean you go out and start shopping ladies. It does mean doing something for yourself. You could just take the time to be by yourself without any interruptions or you could go treat yourself to a massage or a good book.
4. Video and board games
Games can be a perfect way to relieve stress. Put some thought into who you invite to play with to make sure you avoid the game becoming to intense and stressful. There are some great free software games you can download off the internet that are great to help relieve stress
5. Make sure you sleep well
Rest properly. When you interrupt your sleeping patterns you put unnecessary and potentially harmful stress on your body. If you are constantly thinking you are not resting. It may not sound possible but you can turn off thoughts about worry simply by not reacting to them.
The best thing to do is to get started on just one of these ideas and then move on to the next when you feel you are ready. It is important to relax no matter what you do. There is no reason to wait any longer.
