Moral Values and Issues

In a country, known for its Catholic roots, legislative bodies are trying to pass a law on Pro-abortion. But the Catholic Church is taking such matters into their hands by denying these politicians communion. A local bishop issued a pastoral letter saying that such decision is not a sanction or a penalty but a reaction to a person’s “public unworthiness to receive Holy Communion due to an objection situation of sin”. Communion is a conscious decision, based on a reasoned judgment regarding one’s worthiness to do so. Other reasons for refusal to distribute Holy Communion to someone include cases of a declared excommunication, a declared interdict, or an obstinate persistence in manifest grave. It is a very complicated system quite opposite with nannycam system (no comparison there).
